Harmonix sneaked out a Rock Band update today which tweaks a few gameplay matters and also includes the often talked about track converter feature. 

This conversion add-on will allow users to export Rock Band songs to their hard drive taking up 1.5GB of space and make them playable in Rock Band 2 minus the lame ass disc swapping.  The "service" will run $5 to cover the additional licensing fees of having the music play on another game, at least that is what I suspect.  It could just be a quic…

According to a post made on the Demigod forums earlier today the first phase of beta testing will begin tomorrow, September 4th.
