Gamers & Geeks, Nerds & Nerdettes - I am very happy to present yet another interview with a prominent Starcraft guru: Sean 'Day[9]' Plott.
As many visitors of this site are already aware, Day[9] has been an active member of the community and an accomplished player ever since the very dawn of Starcraft-time, and continues to be so today. His knowledge of the game is challenged by few and rivalled by even less in the foreign world, as is proven by his excellent podcasts and live stream broadcasts. If you want to learn how to play the game better, there are no better resources in English - I would humbly argue.
In this interview, Day[9] talks about the game - from the beginning into the present and beyond. He shares his thoughts about Starcraft 2 and what eSports as a phenomenon may develop into, as well as telling us why and how legends like SlayerS_`Boxer` and [NC]YellOw represent a class of players that stand above the rest.
In addition, he tells us why the Plott family is so strong when it comes to eSports - and how he and his brother Nick 'Tasteless' from an early age were helped by their mother in becoming Jedis of Starcraft...
Follow the Youtube links to watch the interview, or click here to go the original post where it can be downloaded in mp3 format. Enjoy:

Yeah, he's a good guy and I really enjoyed talking to him. It will be really good to hear him take part in TSL as a commentator and analyst

Thank you very much, it makes me so glad to hear!
More is coming, and if you got any suggestions or ideas for improvement - do let me know. It's really cool to be involved with this, and knowing that the community appreciates the content is great

As far as suggestions goes on, there is not very much to add. I liked the questions asked and the exchange bewteen you and Day[9] was intersting and funny.
Maybe you could have asked his take on some of the new features of SCII, that are currently debated. Like for example the new macro mechanics?

Yes, I wished to talk more about Starcraft 2, but more than 40 minutes had already passed and that's as much as peoples' attentions spans can usually take, I think. I am planning to do more in-depth work and interviews on SC2, seeking out people with informed opinions and getting down to the nitty gritty.
Thanks for the constructive feedback!
