Has the snipe ability been removed from the Ghost?
No.
Do the Terrans have detection in the form of a movable unit?
Yes, they have the Nighthawk.
So it has Snipe and Psi Round?
Snipe and Psi Round are the same. You Snipe with a Psi Round, which currently does 20 damage + 80 versus Psionic Units. This means, Ghosts are not only able to see energy based units in a limited range within the fog of war, they also take out units like High Templars with one Psi Round shot, making them excellent caster killers.
Will there be multiple death animations in multiplayer?
This still isn't determined, though the additional animations added so far is really making the polish of the game look amazing. Watching Marines get scorched by Hellion fire, burning up while hitting the ground, and then dissolving into ashes...is quite a spectacle.
What about for buildings?
None planned at the moment.
When can we expect some updates to the site? Thanks.
When gameplay mechanics of units are more grounded, the website will be updated with those changes.

I noticed in sc1 when you set a rally point the unit goes there without attacking the enemy if near by. Will SC2 make it so when a rally point is set, the unit will attack an enemy while going to the rally point instead of dieing just to reach rally point? Or do you think the SC1 way should stay the same in sc2?
Right now, when the rally point is set, the units will attack enemy units nearby while going to the rally point.
