Iron Man copies a scene from Starcraft 2

Ever since the Starcraft has been out, pundits have pointed out various units and aspects of the game that Blizzard has borrowed or "stole" from other entities. Warhammer, Aliens, etc... the latest claim being that SC2 copied The War of the Worlds and Command & Conquer 3

I'll get into that subject a little more later, but right now check out both these videos:

ok yes both scenes look similar, but really how many other ways could a high-tech, futuristic suite of armor be put on to a human?

See what I'm getting at?

The Warhammer guys claim Blizzard stole units from their table game. Space Marines - Terran Marines, Zerg - whatever the Warhammer guys call their Alien looking race

Zerg look like Alien, Protoss look like Predators, Terrans(Meaning inhabitants of earth) look like Humans! omg...

As an artist at least back when I use to draw... things in pop culture would influence my characters... I drew a futuristic ninja once that looks just like that ninja from Metal Gear Solid, but it isn't him.

I feel one of the reasons Blizzard games are some of the best is because of the passion that gets put into their games. Of course the designers are going to look and what they love and use some of that to help with their designs.

How many other kinds of non-bipedal Mechs can you make? Can you make them different? Yes. Which is why the 4 legged Mechs in Ghost in the Shell aren't the same as the Martian Death-Ray mechs in War of the Worlds which in turn is different then the Colossus in Starcraft 2.



Anyways I digress who else is going to see Iron Man today?
