From the PDF -
"We will go over some of the design goals for the technology used to empower our artists for both in-game and story mode settings as well as describe how the Blizzard art style influenced the design of the engine."
Check out the brand new screenshots below:

Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
"In a nutshell, the main idea behind screen space ambient occlusion is to
approximate the occlusion function at points on visible surfaces by sampling the depth of neighboring pixels in screen space." - AMD tech sheet

"Translucent shadows allow objects such as smoke and explosion to cast
shadows." - AMD tech sheet
One of the objectives for Starcraft II was to present rich lighting environments in story mode, as well as more lighting interactions within the game itself. Previously in Warcraft III, each unit had a hard limit as to the number of lights that could affect it at any given time. - Tech sheet

Meh, really uncool not to link the source
I guess that is what you get for actually linking the finds...
It was quite a scoop, and we're but a small fansite. It wouldn't hurt you to link through...

Like thenonhacker said, AMD is the real source of the screenshots... this is public news like anything regarding new screenshots/videos released by Blizzard to whomever
Out of courtesy however I've decided to link to your write-up
In the future however we only source Blizzard links or sites that create unique content that is not in the public sc2 news/media domain.

Cheers man, I appreciate it!
Well, the AMD document had been out for over 1 week, and you want me to believe you found it yourself, just hours after we posted it?
The thing I have learned is that if we ever come across this again, we'll just wait with releasing the actual documents or sources until 2-3 days in. Then people can't hide the fact we found it. Naturally, the chance of getting another scoop like this is slim to say the least =(
Basically, yes, AMD leaked (it looks like a leak, other chapters are not permitted to view) the document, we found it. If you had made the discovery I'd have made you the source, even with this in fresh memory. There is no way I could in good consience NOT link you. But now you did, so I appreciate that. =)

due to INCgamers no out-linking policy, Starfeeder will no longer be linking to any content in their network.
