Karune and Cydra continue to take and answer questions on the BNET forums, some interesting updates...

No extra Models in Map editor

Since the SCUMedit is supposed to pwn Warcraft 3's world editor on all levels, are you planning on including Creeps as custom SCUMedit units. Even with the units of SC1 and a few special units, there is no way you could have as many models/unit choices as the Warcraft III editor does unless you designed many creeps/special units for custom maps. So is it expected that there will be a lot of new sci-fi models or will there be some models from WC3 to increase the units in the world editor?

No, there won’t be any “extra” models beyond what are used in the regular game. This however doesn't mean there won't be 'easter egg' units in the regular game. Though to clarify, there are no plans to add additional units to the game that won't be seen in the actual game.

Back to only 1 Mothership

You can mass queens? What advantage would mass queens have? Just wondering? Should she be able to fly again? Special spell for her? defensive weapon , offensive weapon. How can I make her a force???????? Any answers anyone?

Only one Mothership can be warped in per a player.

You can have multiple Queens with your Hatchery and Spawning pool, and Queen is very useful unit for both offensive and defensive strategies. Currently Queen has Creep Tumor building ability and Mutant Larva spawning ability. And one more skill can be researched at the Lair, which is very powerful for the defense and offense as well.

Faster Observers (no Observatory)

There's a few parts of the protoss tech tree that people who played StarCraft II at BlizzCon can't seem to agree on.

1) Is the observatory back in the game?
2) Which buildings are the warp prism, observer and phoenix speed and sight upgrades at?
3) Is the nullifier's black beam its regular attack, or a special ability like molecular disruption?
4) What hellion statistic can be upgraded at the tech lab?

1) There is no observatory back in the game. You can warp in Observers at your Robotics Facility.
2) Observer's movement speed and Warp Prism's movement speed can be reserached at Null Circuit. Phoenix has no upgrades for the movement speed and range at the current development stage.
3) Nullfier's Force Beam is its regular attack.
4) Hellion's upgrade can be researched at Armory.

MBS means cannons can focus fire!

Since we have MBS can we use that with cannons lets say and control them like a unit and make them able to shoot a specific target? Will this make them too powerful or will this add more strategy to the game?

You can do focused-fire on a specific enemy unit with your Photon Cannons, Bunkers, Missile Turrets and Spine Crawlers, etc. This would give you more strategical options when you defense your base from the enemy units.

This is the most surprising update of late, and I kinda like it... base defense gets a little added update, it does not seem overpowering at all to me, but I would like to know your opinion about this.

Focus firing with cannons is def interesting, hopefully it will make for a powerful new Protoss offensive cannon ;\
