This is a great find... Luckyfool uploaded this video he spliced together that takes us a little bit back in time. He mentions the 1.08 patch and showcases some funny things in the early Starcraft years.
I have tons of magical Starcraft memories I'll never forget :') like being able to get away with Scout Rushes lol, perfecting the Zileas reaver drop, beating Maynard, Kali & Cases ladder etc...
Starcraft was the first game ever where I hated to lose more then I loved to win. It brought out the competitive gaming blood in me.
Moral of the story is, SC wasn't perfectly balanced right out the door, but Blizzard's hardwork and patience molded it into the greatest RTS game on the planet.
Now we can all look forward to creating new memories in the future with StarCraft II.

Thank you for sharing this video. It's interesting to see these old things outside my memory of them through the eyes of a 9-year old.
This video also got me thinking though, that I've always taken for granite the balance and perfection of Starcraft, I always held it as something above another computer game, I never imagined criticizing it, or complaining about its game play. Starcraft was Starcraft, complaining about it would be like complaining about the laws of nature. I can't wait for the second Starcraft 2 so I can fully appreciate this quality. I honestly don't believe any other game compares. I'm with you, here's to new memories!

Great comment! I can say that Starcraft completely engulfed my college years completely, it was like a religious experience... sorta lol
