For me, SC1 was much more fun that Warcraft3. I particularly hated the upkeep portion of the game, which limits the unit/income ratio late in the game. I guess it's part of the strategy, but the whole idea didn't click with me.
Also, Random Team SUCKED because there would always be that level 1 dude who makes 50 peons and sings "IM A LUMBER JACK AND IM OK" the whole game. I find it ironic how teams still manage to win with idiots like that on their team. If they could find a way to weed out the ****tards from RT, then I believe I would enjoy it much more, because I love team games, as long as everyone is doing their best.
Also, the economy gathering system in WC3 wasn't that cool with me either. I didn't like the fact that you could only make 5 peons for gold and a set of 2-4 for wood, depending on your race. I liked SC1's concept of MORE SCVS = MORE MONEY. It was flippin awesome to cast storm on an enemy's production line and see their economy cripple, or see a mine explode near a group of probes.
Yeah, that's enough ranting for me for one night.
FLIPPIN RIDICULOUS!!!!
