Two press releases have floated my way in the past couple of days via Blizzard so there is no reason we can't tie them both together. Wrath of the Lich King will have a midnight launch (surprise) on November 13th. Four retailers in New York, Anaheim, Austin and San Francisco will be having special launch events to celebrate the game's release. There a bunch of international locations as well in the link above which you non-USA folk may want to check out.

I thought to myself a title like that was quite the bold statement and that it sounded nothing like the rhetoric I have heard so far from Lucasarts in regards to the KOTOR MMO, The Old Republic.
